Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Introduction

Brand Sentinel ("the Service") is a brand-monitoring product operated by Vibrilliant ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect: (a) account information you provide when registering, such as your name, email address, and organization name; (b) configuration data you create in the Service, such as monitored sources, keywords, and alert rules; (c) usage data, such as pages visited and features used, collected to operate and improve the Service; and (d) billing information, which is processed by our payment provider and not stored in full on our servers.

3. Monitored Content

The Service collects publicly available content (for example social media posts and RSS items) that matches the sources and keywords you configure. This content is gathered on your behalf for brand-monitoring purposes and is associated with your organization's account.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to authenticate you and secure your account; to deliver alerts and reports you configure; to process payments; and to communicate with you about your account or the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party providers to operate the Service, including cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and — if you choose it — Google sign-in. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services to us and are bound by their own privacy terms.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and monitoring data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, hashed password storage, and scoped API keys. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of any breach affecting your data as required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "last updated" date below. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
